Welcome to this training of Tile Setting NC II. This course is designed to provide the learner with knowledge, practical skills and attitude, applicable in performing work activities involve in lying of tiles on plain and curved surfaces for walls, floors, and other application and repairing of tiles on plain and curved surfaces. This includes classroom learning activities and practical work in actual work site or simulation area.

ASSESSMENT CRITERIA:

  • Cut parts are prepared in accordance with the specified garment design/style.
  • Cut parts are pressed in accordance with fabric specifications.
  • Cut parts are pinned together in accordance with garment design or style.
  • Accessories and accents are prepared in accordance with garment design or style.

The Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to weld carbon steel plate and pipe components as specified by layout, blueprints, diagrams, work order, welding procedure or oral instructions using shielded metal arc welding equipment.This Qualification conforms with American Welding Society (AWS) D 1.1Structural Welding Code; American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) IXBoiler and Pressure Vessel Code; American Petroleum Institute (API) 1104 Code forGas and Oil Pipeline Facilities; and International Standards Organization (ISO) 9606-1 Qualification of Welders for Steel.

Description: 

The RAC SERVICING (DomRAC) NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to enable him/her to install, service, maintain, troubleshoot and repair domestic air-conditioning and refrigeration units. This qualification covers window- type air-conditioning and domestic refrigerators only.

This course is designed to equip learners in the various tasks of housekeeping. Learners will gain proficiency providing guest 
service in hotel facilities ensuring guest satisfaction. Through hands-on activities, learners will develop a thorough understanding 
of the operations, safety protocols, and customer service aspects vital to housekeeping services. Upon completion, learners are 
eligible to take assessments to earn National Certificate level II in Housekeeping Services, pursue higher education and careers relative to 
hospitality industry.

This HILOT (WELLNESS MASSAGE) NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to plan the hilot wellness program of client/s, provide pre-service to client/s, apply hilot wellness massage techniques and provide post-advice on post-services to clients.

This course will equips learners with the competencies needed to assemble electronic products, prepare printed‐circuit-board (PCB) modules, and install, maintain and service both consumer and industrial electronic products and systems.

This course is designed to equip individuals with operational skills in
Electrical Installation & Maintenance NC level II particularly in installing and
maintaining electrical wiring, lighting and related equipment/systems in residential houses/buildings where the voltage does not exceed 600 volts. 

The DRESSMAKING NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to enable him/her to draft and cut patterns; lay out patterns on the material/fabric, sew material/fabric, and apply finishing touches on the ladies' casual apparel of the Garment sector. Casual Apparel consists of casual dress, blouse, skirt, trousers, shorts, and culottes.

The ANIMAL PRODUCTION(POULTRY-CHICKEN) NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to maintain poultry housing, brood and grow chicks, perform pre-lay and lay activities and trim beak. These functions are required for individual who will work in a poultry(broiler and layers).

The Animal Production (Swine) NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to handle breeders, handle farrowing sows and sucklings, raise weanlings, produce finishers, maintain healthy environment and apply biosecurity measures.

 The AGRICULTURAL CROPS PRODUCTION NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to produce various agricultural crops which
include performing nursery operations, planting, caring and maintaining of crops and
carrying-out harvest and postharvest operations.
This Qualification is packaged from the competency map of the Agri-Fishery Sector as
shown in Annex A.

BOOKKEEPING is a branch of accounting defined as a mechanical task involving the collection of basic financial data. The data are first entered in the accounting records or the books of accounts, and then extracted, classified and summarized in the form of income statement, balance sheet and cash flows statement. This process normally takes place once a month. This bookkeeping procedure usually end when the basic data have been entered in the book of accounts and the accuracy of each entry has been tested. It helps the financial records organized makes it easier to locate and provide to appropriate parties. The importance of bookkeeping is that it helps with business analysis. It is a tool used by management to analyze business performance. Bookkeeping is the start of an accounting process which allows you to produce useful accounting information about your sales, expenses, assets, liabilities and equity.


The EVENTS MANAGEMENT SERVICES NC III Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to coordinate events, functions and/or conferences which may be held in conference centers, hotels, motels, restaurants, clubs, resorts and luxury liners. It includes competencies on event planning such as planning and developing an event proposal, concept, and program, selecting a venue and site, and updating event industry knowledge, as well as competencies on on-site event management such as providing onsite management services, managing contractors and updating knowledge on protocol.
